Good bye trailer :(

We are selling our cute little trailer this month. The family is sad but we know we can't keep it forever. We are upgrading to a travel trailer next year or sooner, but is going to give tent camping a try until then. Time to find some new camp grounds and buy some new gear.
I will post pics soon of our upcoming trips.

8.6.10 Dillons Beach

I so love camping and mostly at the beach, we even left 5 hours earlier than we normally would to go to Dillons. I can't believe that almost ALL the camping spots were taken, I am just happy we got their early!! We found a small spot to fit all 8 of us. The dogs had a great time running around and the kids even had more freedom climbing the sand hills. I think we are going back in late October or in November, who knows.

I think next year we are going to look into buying a travel trailer and sell our cute little tent trailer. The children (who are 9 & 11) do not want to share a bed anymore :) Plus Tyler wants a bathroom so he doesn't have to use the campgrounds potty.

Camping!!!!

On our way to Dillion's beach tomorrow, we can't wait!!! 3 days & 2 nights of having a great time with the kids & dogs ... oh, and husband :) If it was up to me, we would be there every other weekend or buying a vacation house near there. I love the beach & cool weather. Post pics when we get back .... bye!

Planning another caming trip!

YES! We are going back to Dillons Beach in 3 weeks to camp again. I can't wait! The kids want to move there and stay in the cool weather .. I don't blame them, I love that weather. I think for this trip we are buying a porta potty & a shower tent. Tyler doesn't like using the bathrooms that they provide around the camp grounds. Of course I will post new photos of our trip. CANT WAIT!

OMGosh! I found our trailer in this vintage Starcraft advertisement, funny thing is it looks the same as it does now.

7.16.10 Dillons Beach

We went camping in our tent trailer over the weekend. We are still finding things we need to replace or fix. The sad part was we haven't taken out the tent trailer in 3 years to the date! What a wonderful feeling it was to camp using our tent trailer and how easy it was to put up and take down. We are going again in 3 weeks to the same wonderful 60 degree beach, while it is 100 degrees in Woodland. Can't wait!!

To restore or not to restore

We have a 1968 Starcraft tent trailer (pop-up), we are the second owners so not much has been updated. It needs a paint job and the wood inside need to be replaced. Wiring needs to be done with a list of much more! Pics to come as we make changes!!
